Not long after the launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro, important rumors about Sony’s next console have emerged. According to this, Sony may have shown the PlayStation 6 prototype at the Tokyo Game Show. Sony may have shown the PlayStation 6 at the Tokyo Game Show
Sony may have previewed its new PlayStation console earlier than expected. According to journalist Anton Logvinov, the company showed off a PlayStation 6 prototype to various partners at the Tokyo Game Show in recent weeks.
Sony has yet to make an official announcement about the PS6. However, the company allegedly confirmed the new console and showed off the prototype version. Of course, it is unknown whether Sony showed any PS6 games running with the prototype.
Considering that the company unveiled the PS5 Pro last month, the PS6 is still a few years away. That’s why it’s thought that it only showed its partners the system architecture and design. It should be reminded that PlayStation 5 was released in 2020.
With this development, questions such as what innovations the PS6 will bring, when it will be released and how it will affect PS5 users have started to arise. It should be underlined that no official statement has been made by Sony.
Sony also recently announced a special limited edition collection to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the launch of PlayStation. This collection included the PS5, PS5 Pro and DualSense controllers in a nostalgic gray finish.
